The Nancy Belk Coaching Scholarship
Nancy Belk was a gifted therapist, mentor, business woman, and friend.
I first met Nancy during a very difficult time, seeing her as my therapist. She quickly became a very dear person in my life. Her wisdom, joy, love and commitment were tangible in every interaction. And not just for me! Everyone that had the gift of interacting with her, left a little brighter, a little lighter, and knowing they matter.
When my budget changed and I saw her less, she reached out to me. I explained why I hadn’t reached out, and she insisted I stop by her office just to catch up. After that talk, she invited me back the next week, and the next and the next. Each time calmly declining payment, and saying we could figure it out later; she knew I was committed to doing my work and was on my team.
Her mentorship and belief in me is why I am a coach today. When I wanted to quit my dream of having a coaching practice, she boldly stood for me to keep going. I leaned on her faith in me, when I didn’t have faith in myself.
In 2018 Nancy died of cancer. She is profoundly missed, and ever treasured.

The Nancy Belk Coaching Scholarship is one way I honor her commitment and role in my coaching practice. It is available for people who are whole heartedly committed to their personal growth, know they are capable and abundant, and could use a full or partial scholarship, to make coaching possible.
